ANYONE FAMILIAR with the traditional Irish music scene in Galway will know accordion player Anders Trabjerg. A native of Jutland in Denmark, he has been playing in Galway for over a decade and has become an integral part of the rich musical tapestry.

The World Fleadh, one of Ireland's biggest music festivals, comes to Castlebar from July 31 to August 8, with a fantastic selection of top Irish traditional, folk Celtic and country music acts. Cosgallen CDP is taking names of children and teenagers who are interested in participating in sean nós dancing classes.

Music classes will commence in Áras Inis Gluaire on Wednesday October 7 at 7pm. Expert tuition will take place in guitar, accordion, fiddle, keyboard, tin whistle, singing (including an adult class), and uilleann pipes.
